Biography
Dina Otify is a postdoctoral researcher funded by Innosuisse. In 2026, she obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at LMU Munich.
She holds an MSc in Regenerative Biology and Medicine from TU Dresden. Her research focuses on modeling inherited retinal diseases, particularly Usher syndrome type 1B, using human stem cell–derived retinal organoids to investigate and develop novel therapeutic strategies.
She has extensive experience in CRISPR/Cas genome editing, disease modeling, and advanced organoid systems for translational research.
She is an author of several peer-reviewed articles.
