Biography
CTO and acting CEO Elita Montanari founded EVis Bioscience after her Post-Doctoral fellowship at ETH Zürich, where she co-invented and developed EVis’ proprietary technology with the financial support of the Phospholipid Research Centre in Prof. Leroux’s lab. Currently, Elita is also an associate professor at the University of Roma Tre in Italy.
She obtained her European Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, carrying out a co-research project at the University of Rome ‘Sapienza’ (Italy) and the University of Manchester (England). Elita had worked in the fields of drug delivery and nanotechnology at various European Research Institutions for thirteen years.
She won European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) mobility grant to conduct a research project in the Bichat Hospital in Paris, France, several best talk presentation prizes, and the BioBusiness class award. Elita is the author of more than thirty peer-reviewed articles and the inventor of four patents.
